Badan Amil Zakat Nasional (Baznas) Berau as known as National Zakat Agency, in collaboration with PT Berau Coal, provided educational scholarships to Hasbi, a student from SMA N 4 Berau, on Monday (9/17).

Chairman of Baznas Berau, Rajuddin Abdurrahman said, this scholarship given to Hasbi because of his achievement and grades in the class, even though his financial condition is not good enough.

“Hopefully this support encourages Hasbi to study harder,” he said.

The assistance provided was indeed targeting those who really needed it.

“Hasbi is our pride, its limitations does not prevent him from continuing to achieve success,” said Rajuddin.
